The position:
As a Financial Controller, you will oversee the daily financial operations of the company. You will ensure the accuracy of financial administration and generate necessary reports while ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations.

 
Additionally, you will be responsible for:

• Financial Management & Reporting:

  • Oversee daily financial operations and prepare reports (P&L, customer statements, monthly/annual accounts).

  • Ensure compliance with tax and reporting regulations.

• Cash Flow & Payroll:

  • Monitor cash flow and manage payroll and vendor payments

• Compliance & Risk Management:

  • Ensure compliance with laws and regulations and manage financial risks.

• Budgeting & Cost Control:

  • Develop and manage budgets, monitor costs, and optimize financial processes.

• Collaboration & Process Optimization:

  • Work with senior management on financial strategy and process improvements.

• Customer & Supplier Financials:

  • Manage credit checks, reconcile accounts, and handle financial queries

• 3- 5 years of experience in a financial role, preferably in logistics or e-commerce

• Expertise in financial planning, forecasting, and budgeting

• Strong knowledge of external reporting requirements and tax legislation

• Experience with financial and risk management

• Proficiency with financial software

• Familiarity with e-commerce and contract reviews is a bonus

• Excellent proficiency in Dutch and English, spoken and written
